We tried to go whale watching off the coast of Provincetown
today but the boats were full. I was thinking it would be more fun with the kids and so we will make reservations next year when we come up again. We stayed and shopped and did some
Christmas shopping.. That was fun.
I did make some progress on the baby sweater. The back and part of the front is done.
I am hoping to finish this by the end of the week and then make the hat. This is a very easy pattern. I did see a beautiful aran wrap sweater that would make a great winter project.
So my wheels are spinning and I am already thinking of the next thing!
I miss the kids and I cant wait to see them. Its been a great week.

Our quiet days are almost over.....

I started knitting this baby sweater for my best friends grandbaby, due the end of October.I think this will give me plenty of time. It is a fairly easy pattern and I have made it before for my own grandson when he was born.I am knitting away in the car, and while we are watching movies this week. I have been working a little on my 2@T socks, toe up. I am so crazy about the yarn and I love the fact that the socks will not be exactly the same in stripes...
Today we drove around and daydreamed about buying a place up here someday. We stopped at one beach and sat in the sun for a while.....Tonight will be a quiet dinner and a movie.....A few more days of bliss and then back to the real world........

Day 2 Honeymoon

We are having so much fun this week. We took  walk on the beach and although the weather was a little overcast,  a grey day at the beach is always better than no day at the beach. We did stop at a little beach store on the way home and picked up a few beach chairs, left them in the car and can stop later this week and sit and relax. The weather looks great all week, with no rain in the forecast.
We visited a windmill built in the 1700's. So interesting and took a tour.
My patient man also took me to my favorite yarn store... Lady Bug Knitting. I love that place.I bought some yarn for my best friends new grandchild that is due the end of October. I am going to knit a simple little cardigan and I also bought some sweet little buttons.
Lots of time to knit this week and my two at a time socks ,toe up are slowly coming along..
I am having a wonderful time with my new husband.... that sounds so nice.... Life is good. God is good.

A few more pictures

These are a few pictures of our day today at the beach.....

A new beginning!

It was exactly 7 years and 7 months to the day that Michael and I got married. Yesterday with our family and children present and in our back yard ( my new home). Early in the morning it was pouring and the sun came out in time... We weren't able to invite everyone of our friends because the list would have been too long, so we just decided to have our immediate family. Our children stood up with us and they were the witnesses. A good friend of Mikes' is a judge and along with my Pastor they did a very nice ceremony. Short and sweet. Afterwards we all ate laughed and the kids all went on the trampoline. Fun. I tried out the trampoline myself....a bride has to celebrate.
